The Oasis 4x4 Leagues

 

Covid-19 Update (06/03/2020)

  The Oasis will reopen on Monday, June 15th!

 

Due the to Covid-19 Pandemic Oasis leagues have temporarily changed format. 

We are currently offering a 5-week mini-league that will start the week of June 15th. 

The cost of the league is $200 per team.

There will be three shifts per night of single match play and there will be a buffer between each shift to allow teams to leave before we allow the next shift to enter the building. The league will possibly rotate between inside/outdoor courts throughout the session. After this first 5 week league, we'll be offering a longer 8 week league. At that point, it'll be the end of September and we're hoping that we'll be able to resume leagues as they were before this pandemic struck. These two leagues, the 5-week reopening league, and the 8-week summer league are considered temporary leagues and will come with no returning priority.

 

Once we're able to resume normal leagues again (hopefully at the end of September) All Oasis Coed 4's teams that had signed up for the Spring Session will have registration priority.

 

League Information

 Coed 4x4 - "Welcome Back" - Mini League -  June 15th - July 17th:

  • 5 Week League (Monday - Friday)
  • 3 Rotations (6:00pm / 7:25pm / 8:55pm)
  • 4 Divisions (D1 / D2 / D3 / D4) 
  • $200 in fees / credits
  • *If the overall demand = 4 rotations worth of teams, we will adjust the rotations / utilize outdoor courts*
  • *We will potentially be utilizing all indoor and outdoor courts*
Coed 4x4 - Sunday League - June 21st - July 26th:
  • 5 Week League (Sunday)
  • No league play on Sunday, July 5th  
  • 2 Rotations (5:30pm / 7:00pm)
  • 4 Divisions (D1 / D2 / D3 / D4) 
  • $200 in fees / credits
  • *We will potentially be utilizing all indoor and outdoor courts*

*These leagues are temporary and do not come with returning priority when normal leagues resume

 Disclaimer: As everyone knows, this is an ever evolving situation and ALL policies are subject to change/addition at any time

Entering and Exiting the Oasis:

  • Policy will be explained in depth to teams who register
  • Based on guidelines and restrictions for restaurants when leagues resume

Mask Policy:

  • All players will be required to wear a mask while inside the facility (bar/dining area, restrooms, any staging area inside and around the 7 indoor courts). 
  • Players are not required to wear a mask while playing (inside or out), eating or drinking. 
  • Any player that chooses to not abide by our indoor mask policy will be asked to leave immediately and not welcome back in until he/she is wearing a mask.
  • Players are responsible for providing masks, Oasis will not have masks available

 Personal and Equipment Sanitizing:

  • All players will be required to sanitize their hands upon entering the facility as well as immediately before their match.
  • Oasis staff will provide 4 sanitized volleyballs for each court prior to their match. Do not bring your own ball.
  • All shared surfaces (tables, etc) will be sanitized by Oasis staff between each round of matches
  • There will be no changing clothes on site. All players will need to arrive to their match in the clothes they are going to play in.
  • Water bottles left in the building will be discarded at the end of the day and not left in lost and found.

Spectator Policy:

  • Only players actually playing volleyball will be allowed into the building
  • No spectators will be allowed to enter including children

Roster Information and Contact Tracing:

  • Prior to each match, all players will need to confirm their attendance with an Oasis staff member and verify contact information. This is important as it was one of the components that will allow us to re-open; the ability to contact trace if necessary.
  • All players will need to re-sign an updated roster/waiver form prior to participating in the league and update contact information. 

 

Coed 4x4 - July 20th - September 11th:
  • 8 Week League (Monday - Friday)
  • Rotations TBD
  • Divisions TBD 
Coed 4x4 - September 14th - December 11th:
  • *Hopefully* we can run our typical 12 week league. We will adjust accordingly as our current situation evolves.

To sign up for the Coed 4x4 wait list please click here. Returning teams have priority and any spots available will be filled from the wait list. The wait list is first come first serve. Session 1 will start at the beginning of January.

Monday - Friday, Coed 4x4 
League Notes and Updates:

 

Our Coed 4x4 Sand Leagues run on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Each night we offer 56 spots divided into 4 divisions and each division will rotate start times between 5:55pm, 7:05pm, 8:15pm & 9:25pm each week. Each team will play one opponent per week, 3 games to 25.

 

- Session 1 league runs from January - March 2020. (12 weeks)
- End Of Session (EOS) tournaments will be held on March 21st and 28th.
- 99% of communication is with email, please make sure emails are up to date. 
- Roster forms are due by the end of week 2. 
- If a roster has not been submitted by the end of week 11, players not on the roster will not be allowed to participate in the EOS tournament.
- Registration forms for the next session will be sent out in an email and available above through the registration section. Current teams have priority and all new teams need to sign up through the wait list. 
- All current teams hold priority for the next session as long as they don't violate the No Show policy and have their paperwork & payment turned in by the end of the 11th week of league.
